Exploring neurodiversity in the tech workplace

Tech thrives on innovation- and innovation thrives on diverse minds. But are we truly creating spaces where neurodivergent talent can shine?

In this session, we’ll explore how conditions like autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and others bring unique strengths to tech teams. You’ll learn how to recognize hidden barriers, rethink inclusion beyond the basics, and discover practical ways how BEC Financial technologies support neurodivergent colleagues at work.

Whether you're a developer, manager, HR partner, or ally, this talk will challenge your perspective and offer fresh tools to build more inclusive, high-performing teams.

Towards a Barrier-Free Digital World: Let’s talk about accessibility testing

In today’s world, where many of our activities have moved online, accessibility testing is not only a legal requirement — it should also be an integral part of the software development process.
I will explain what accessibility testing is and who benefits from making websites and digital services accessible.
During this presentation, I aim to show that getting started with accessibility testing isn’t difficult — and that taking small, gradual steps can be a very effective approach. I will demonstrate practical tools that can support and streamline the daily work of testers.

When the Mind Shuts Down: Overstimulation, Noise, and Burnout

In a world of constant notifications and endless data streams, our minds face overstimulation and an overwhelming noise of information. This speech explores how the relentless flood of input affects our ability to concentrate, increases stress levels, and gradually leads to burnout. We will look at the psychological and emotional consequences of living in a hyper-connected society, as well as practical strategies for setting boundaries, protecting mental energy, and restoring focus and balance in daily life.

Great news! You don't have to be a good girl! Or what holds us back in our professional development.

More and more women are working in STEM. This is a great trend that has been growing steadily for years. Despite this, there are still very few women in senior or managerial positions. What could be behind this situation?
I believe that one of the most important factors is self-sabotage!
Yes! We consider ourselves “not good enough,” we don't boast about our achievements, we don't show how far we've come (and how much we've done!) to get where we are today. We don't speak up.
Why? “Because it's not proper for well-behaved girls.”
In my presentation, I want to address the phenomenon of the “good girl” (sometimes complemented by impostor syndrome) and show how it can sabotage us in reaching for more. Join me in exploring this aspect and see how such a belief affects us, especially at work. Learn ways to act so that this attitude does not sabotage us.

The Art of Smart Self-Promotion: How to Showcase Your Value.

Let's be honest: talking about ourselves can be incredibly awkward. We're often taught to be humble, but what happens when our great work gets overlooked simply because we're too quiet? If you've ever hesitated to share a success story or felt unsure how to take credit for a job well done, this talk is for you.
In this session, Alicja ditches the corporate jargon for a real, practical conversation. She is here to show you that sharing your value doesn't have to feel like bragging.
In this talk, you will discover:
•How to tell a great story about your work (it's easier than you think!).
•Simple phrases you can use in your very next meeting or performance review.
•The key difference between arrogant bragging and confidently communicating your impact.
•A fresh mindset to help you feel genuinely good about your accomplishments.
You're already doing amazing work. This session is about making sure everyone knows it. Join Alicja to find your voice and let your achievements shine!
